Biomobila is a family business and social enterprise, producing solid wood furniture with organic finishes. Our goal is to create innovative furniture for bedrooms and custom furnishings for private homes and the hospitality industry. We can translate our company’s name by “health preserving furniture”, a name that illustrates the quest for ecology in furniture manufacturing and use. Biomobila workshops are in Bucovina, the North-East region of Romania, whose rich folklore and architectural heritage greatly influenced our design. Our clients include Cărturești Bookstore chains, architects’ offices, hospitality industry clients and private residential homes. Owners picked our products due to the connection with the beauty of nature captured in Biomobila pieces. Biomobila is member of the Romanian Furniture Manufacturers Association.

Our business is based on a commitment to providing an alternative to a more secure, cleaner and environmentally friendlier furniture line, thus contributing to the well-being of the world we live in. Therefore, we choose raw materials such as solid wood, natural glues, natural oils, wax and earth colours. Every material we use in the production process is carefully chosen, to minimize the environmental impact and pollution. We manufacture furniture from local tree species, especially oak and larch, hence reducing the carbon footprint.
